Boiling point is 100c and therefore boiling water has to hit that first, which you don't get out of the hot tap.

You need to go out and buy a new hot tap like this one:

Just whatI need but why can't a standard tap do 100c when water has been BOILED in a BOILER?????

A BOILER = BOILED water.

So why can't the BOILED water from the BOILER go to the TAP???

The friction heating isn't really working.

Because it would boil your hand when you washed the dishes.

Hot tap water is usually approx 50C, not 100C

A "boiler" isn't a boiler, it's just a water heater. It doesn't boil the water at all. You've been sold a lie. You need to sue someone.

How does the water get from your boiler to the taps, through pipes which lose heat as it travels so it can't stay hot for long.

You've just proved that you can't.

I used to have pot noodles from time to time but now I buy packs instead. Cheaper and you can add your own ingredients as you please. and feels slightly healthier as a result

But my tap is like 2 meters away from the BOILER!!!! I really need to get one of these large boilers:

That makes no sense to me.

The BOILER BOILED water.

The tap should give BOILING water.

Do I need a new boiler?

Your boiler is fine (boiler is a misnomer really, it heats the water, not boils it), you just need to use the kettle next time!

When it comes to the boil you need to hold the auto-off switch down to keep it boiling for the 2 mins it needs.

Then put it in the freezer until it comes back down to a suitable temperature.

That's up to the… F&D mods… Lucky for us, neither of us mod F&D. What was it that famous French royal said? "Let them eat semi-cooked pot noodle with water specifically too cool for cooking it and then write a post on an Internet forum about it to gain rep". I think I'm slightly paraphrasing. :colondollar:
What even.
