I really want to study English at uni BUT i only take english lang (alongside psychology and sociology), not english lit, will uni's still accept me?
some will some wont check on the uni's website

It depends on the university. Most unis ask for either English Literature or the combined English A-level course.
You would be at a disadvantage but some unis might offer you an alternative course like English Lang and Lit, rather than straight Lit course.
It just all depends on the uni.
