Also nice to see us go on and batter a team rather than just take our foot off the gas at half time. Disappointing to see the Emirates half empty with 10 minutes to go, but it's what you come to expect with the fans who go.

Clock end has become so bad its unreal
North bank is still a bit better but I'd imagine we'd get seated tourists there too in a few seasons
Don't mean to be a killjoy or anything, but beating a bunch of Bulgarian goat farmers 6-0 won't mean anything unless we top the group.
We have to beat what's in front of us though, so may as well do it in style.
6-0 could prove quite decisive though. We currently have +3gd over PSG after the first half of the fixtures.. If we use this and keep our GD ahead, then topping the group with a home draw against PSG could be a likely scenario given how poor the other two sides in the group have been
Basel will be massive, and its no easy place to go for English clubs
only positive is its the last game in the group - meaning by then, it could be a largely pointless game for them. If they loose to PSG, we beat Ludo again.. then they beat Ludo in their game, they will be going into that last game knowing they are almost certainly 3rd in the group, bar a huge upset with PSG loosing to ludo

Even if you top the group there's some dangerous sides who you could end up with in the round of 16. One of Dortmund/Real, one of Bayern/Atletico, one of Juventus/Sevilla.
City will finish 2nd in their group and so might Spurs so that leaves you with effectively a 50% chance of getting an easy draw.

does it even really matter who we face? Only a few years ago we were cheering after drawing monaco.. the end of our R16 hummiliations.. finally not bayern/barca etc.. Then we go and get humiliated anyway.
makes sense really.. we are the least interesting top club at the moment.. Things will kick off again once we start to get overly confident, and then fail as usual. But in the mean time, united have jose causing all sorts of stories.. you have klopp who is pretty infectiously positive/interesting.. city and chelsea both have big new bosses, etc. By and large we are just the same boring arsenal these days.

Good on h2h first (inc. Away goals) so gd will only matters if we draw 1-1 with psg

Well even you can't **** up against someone like Copenhagen or Besiktas.
Plus, who knows? In Fergie's last season we completely dominated Real Madrid until a very harsh red card and you could tell from his reaction then that it was probably his last CL game. I suspect this is Wenger's last season, in which case he'll want to go out on a high too.
