should india become socialist?

right well i just read 'the ragged trousered philanthropists' and upon having pondered, have come to the conclusion that if india instated the admittedly rather utopian idea laid out in the book (socialism essentially) not only will it would solve india's poverty, it'll give every member of their society an easy and comfortable life. although i think the idea is no longer practically applicable to current british society think it might really sort out their stupidly rigid class structure.

it seems rather simple but i have a habit of not noticing gaping holes in things...

What are you talking about? Haven't you seen Slumdog Millionaire?
Nah, it should be a right-libertarian society! :yep:
It tried Socialism, it failed.

Yes it should!

Then it'll never pose a challenge to anyone in a global economic perspective xD.

It used to have an economy with heavy command elements decades ago - it's only since it has implemented market economy reforms that its economy has been improving so much.
