Accomodation for Jan 06 starting postgrad courses!

You might be in luck - a pretty big section of glen eyre is currently being refurmbished and extended - and the rooms are due to become usable around January time. Which is too late for 90% of students needing rooms but good news for the postgrads, nurses and erasmus students due to arrive in January....whether the accommodation office would let you stay in thses rooms for an entire year is doubtful - but they should be willing to let you stay there for January to september (or January to June)...you'd then have to find a room privately for the remainder of the year.

Alternatively there's usually loads of extra rooms in private houses around January time (people needing to fill their houses after someone drops out or moves elsewhere).
