Would A level Law be frowned upon even if i have no intention of studying it at degree level?

Not really, although it depends on where you are planning to apply and for what degree.

Aston or Nottingham Trent are where i'd most like to go, to do Economics or Business Management.

Then I think law would be seen as an advantage. It is an essay based subject, and the only potential problems I've heard about it is when someone applies for law with law A-level.
