which one to choose

I'm going to study at busines school of Aston uni.But I don't know which subjects should I choose? Personal,I love marketing,but my mom said that doesn't fit my character. :frown:

and she advice accounting like her,however,I'm not really into that thing.How about law? Help me!!!

Look at the syllabuses for the subjects; talk to friends, people in the year above etc.... don't ask your mum :p:

i would probably do some more research into the courses to find out what they both entail but if you love marketing you should go for it, as while your mum will have your best interests at heart it isnt her who will be doing the work and it is beter to do something you are really interested in than doing something your not really into. law sounds interesting and out of the 3 thats what i'd do, but only cos i have no interest in the others.

lots of research from current students, tutors, friends, looking into syllabuses, maybe see if you can look at any previous years work (as when i was at an open day for nursing we were allowed to look at a couple of previus years portfolios of work and it helped me get a better understanding of the course).
