Can anyone help me with marketing? How to attract attention to products, to an audience, to ensure relatively low cost?

Hi

Mine is a real life project aimed at attracting students to purchase an item for a specific occasion such as party, bridal, christmas and prom.
but the marketing of this is proving too difficult .I want real life suggestions to attract viewers and enquriies.
