you are correct, you do use that but its y1-y2/x1-x2
which would give you (-2)-(10)/(0)-(3)= -12/-3=4.
m=4.
y=mx+b (take 3,10)
=10=4x3+b
=10=12+b
=10-12=b
=b=-2
so y=4x-2.

this is the main question I got completely wrong when I did it.
this is what the mark scheme tells you to do:
(147.5+28.5)x2=352m.
