It is hard, try as you might!

This is a poor show on your part, Smaug. :tongue:

Aaaaargh - *occurs* I took so much thought about that, too!
Oh man, I think I'm trying too hard with my words

How I saw this not in front of now I don't know. It's brilliant!

It is a bit of a block on what you might call a normal flow of thought…

Do assist on this transcription of an old and famous [sonnet]:
Prcy Byssh Shlly

I found a sailor from a distant land
Who said: Two vast and half-crack'd thighs of rock
Stand in the dust. Nigh at hand, wound in sand
Half sunk, a crumbling cranium sits, whose look
Of scorning frost, and taunting cold command
Show that its sculptor *well those* passions saw
Which I distinguish on *these* stony things;
*The hand that mocked them, and the heard that fed.* [rhyme "saw"]
And on its plinth, I saw such puissant words:
"Pharaoh Ozymandias, King of kings;
Look on my works, bow down in fright, O lords!"
Nothing *more* is intact. Round such a gray
Colossal ruin, bare and boundless * _ (rhyme with "ords")*
*The* stark and arid sands roll far away.

(You should say "Cranium" with a "y", not an "i", for good scansion; also the "i" in "Ozymandias". I am sorry for my composition of "gray"…)

[Notes on composition: I've maintained the rhyme scheme of the original, but otherwise it's a sonnet. The scansion of the third line is terrible. The "Read/fed" rhyme seems not to be workable, so it should probably be replaced. The last two lines are really hard to attack; "stark and arid" isn't anywhere near as good as "barren arid" would be - replacing the alliteration with a nice assonance - but there's just not enough words meaning "bleak".]

I am writing a transcription of "Ozymandias", by Prcy Byssh Shlly, without That Symbol. It still contains many Unholy Glyphs, but I am working on that. Mad Dog was unhappy with this, but the Sign of Blight snuck into his complaint.

It pains to say it, but in that short paragraph a symbol snuck in :redface:uch:

"I also did that work in a scholastic bout spanning a duration of two-lots-of-four months, prior to my triumphal admission to sixth form" would also work. (I did not do this studying, I should add!)

That's also right, didn't think of that! Funny how various things are basic to construct, but in contrasting paragraphs difficulty is copious

How did this boy stand so tall, how did any of you not catch that child? Good staff is so uncommon nowadays :colonhash:

Yup, you can do it fairly quickly with a bit of practising. I am having a similar difficulty with typing - I am using Dvorak, not QW*RTY, and I don't know all of its symbols. I can do about half of a list of glyphs: ao*uidhtns',.pgcrl is all I know, and I must construct words without differing symbols if I am using Dvorak.
