Ok I am in Holly Cross - Premier En Suite. I am also having trouble logging onto the vle to do the online induction, has anyone sorted this out?
Also with the £450 deposit, it says the 31st August but like most people, I only found out today about the accommodation. Has anyone sorted that out either?

When I was in it, it was an all girl block. From your user i'm guessing you're a guy though! The shower on the bottom floor had amazing pressure compared to the one upstairs. The rooms are a decent size and have plenty of storage, large wardrobe, two overhead cupboards, sink with a mirror and light, a floor to ceiling bookcase, a desk and a swively chair. Whats your room number?

If your room has two external walls make sure you pull your bed away from the wall as in the winter, water condenses on the wall and can cause your mattress to go mouldy. If your desk is in such a position that your chair is next to the wall, be careful if your chair has arms as I managed to gouge a giant hole in the wall over the year.

I'm in Hawthorns T-39/4, think we're in the same block then but im on a different floor? Our block only has 3 floors though so... no idea where i'm going to be haha...

There are 3 flats per floor I think so 33 will be ground floor where as 39 will be top floor. Maybe, I can't quite remember :h:

I had a friend who lived in T block, might ask her if I remember!

Thank ye. It says on the website that T block is made up of flats, so that would make sense. Sounds better than sharing a kitchen & shower with like 20 people in halls.

nice to meet you anyways mate.. i didn't know people were sharing rooms, i just thought the flat had 4 bedrooms in it... hopefully we've not been crammed into the same room with someone else? :confused:

I'm sharing with someone - not that bothered though cos it halves my rent, as long as the guy isn't a psycho (and it's only temporary). If you haven't got a letter about it then I think you've got the room to yourself.

Oh if its only temporary thats alright, was just paranoid id be sharing with someone for the whole year... half the rent would be nice tho :tongue:
