Admittedly this is a thread to shamelessly plug my own blog, but hey! this is the creative corner why not all share blogs and enjoy eachothers work and such!

Heres mine http://betacritique.blogspot.com/ I review films, games and album releases both old and new and whatever people want to read really, with my own personal touch to them. I try not to keep them too ridgid and formal as i'm doing this for my own enjoyment as perhaps a bit to add to my journalism portfolio! I've only had my blog up for a month now and i bloody love it! I'm open to suggestions and feedback!

Hey there, well at the minute, my blog is used for me to talk about the Photoshop tutorials I make, and some of the other stuff I make in Photoshop, as well as my YouTube channel which is Photoshop related. Though I hope in a few weeks I will be able to broaden it out a bit, I want to eventually have a gaming section, Photoshop section, software section and personal section. So like 4 blogs in one.

But first I would like to try and establish the Photoshop blog, as I think it's best to concentrate on one particular niche as I'm just starting out. To broaden my horizons I am using Blogger & WordPress simultaneously. You can check either of them out, the links are:

The reason I decided to make my blog is to further my knowledge. Its easy to read things and understand them, but much harder to put into your own words.

I try to make the content relevant to current issues, whilst at the same time trying to ensure my articles thought provoking.

We all want our blogs to be more popular, to receive more followers/subcribers and more views. One good way to do that would be for us to promote each others blogs, like a link for link type thing, maybe we could use this thread to strike deals were we could appear on each others blogs or something.

Promoting is definetly the hardest part. As I don't want to share my blog with immediete friends and family, I haven't posted it on Facebook yet. Outside of posting my blog on Twitter, putting the link in my sig on the couple of forums I post on and joining Bloggers.com, I honestly can't think of any other way of promoting my blog on the cheap.

What a good idea for a thread! I've started a blog but am yet to publicise it or anything. Its just a fun thing for me to do.

The blog is about arts and culture in London and Seville since I live in both cities and have am interested in going to exhibitions etc. (and will soon be living with an artist).

Its new and still in beta mode pretty much but have a look. I'm looking forward to looking at other people's on here.

Same here, none of my friends or family are that interested in Photoshop, so my blog would be useless to them, and other than posting on forums and my twitter/youtube channel. I have no way of promoting it, I think sharing links with each other would be a nice way to build up partnerships with fellow bloggers, which in turn could get everyone more views and followers.
