So nice to find somebody else interested in astronomy. Too much light pollution around where I live to buy a telescope otherwise I certainly would. My Mum (RIP) was a scientist and used to subscribe to Astronomy Now.

glad to know, I read the sky at night and I have loads of astronomy books, light pollution levels where I live are not too bad, I have a 5 inch reflector and its great, the best birthday present I ever had.

Out of the Darkness, a blog showing how I coped with a double parental bereavement.

July 27th - I have just updated my blog with an entry in which I’ve written a letter to the younger “pre-accident” me! Basically I made some good decisions over the last 3 years and some bad ones..

Looks yummy! I'd also like to say how good the photos are - really high quality and bring the most out of the food. Keep up the good work!

Oh thank you so much! I recently bought my first Dslr because I really wanted to try and work on my photography, and I have to say it's such an improvement on my old, tiny, regular camera XD
We have had two very different types of posts added to the site in the past few days - take a look:

Beauty Below The Surface - A collection of photos demonstrating the awesomeness that can be found below the earths surface

Abandoned and Disused Railways Lines - A selection of railway lines going nowhere in particular

And then something extra special:

Review Of Funding Circle - If you are a money-wise student, graduate or investor and are seeking an alternative place to save your hard earned money as opposed to a high street bank then take a look. In this article there is an in-depth reviewand explanation of Funding Circle, a Peer to Peer Lender.
I've started writing up diary-like extracts for each of the wonderful places I've visited. Feedback would be greatly appreciated! Eventually I'm going to start writing about more personal events in my life, but for now it's solely travel related content. Hope you like it

My blog is a mix of reviews, my view on everyday events/issues and how I'm coping with moving country (Ireland this September).

Hi, my blog shows...

Success comes in all shapes and colours. You can be successful in your job and career but you can equally be successful in your marriage, at sports or a hobby. Whatever success you are after there is one thing all radically successful people have in common: Their ferocious drive and hunger for success makes them never give up.

Great post. I've no idea how you managed to carry on with so little support from friends or family. No-one should have to go through what you have but looks like you've come out the other side!

My Blog's pretty new, but I've written a few posts already:

www.FUZZPIX.com/blog

I'm a graphic design student so some of it's linked to that. Some of it isn't work related at all and is just about my other interests and thoughts. I'm really interested in psychology so in some of my posts I just kind of ask myself questions, and think aloud (while typing). Hopefully it's interesting enough for some people to have a read.

As it is still reasonably new, any feedback is welcomed.

PS. I'm afraid I didn't design the website theme. I will however take credit for choosing the theme.

Light pollution is a problem where I live too. I joined a light pollution conservation group, who look at trying to switch off street lights and such things. I don't do anything - I just subscribed to receive their newsletter and take part in their competitions.

If you don't mind me asking what area of science did you mum work it?

I buy New Scientist , and read quite a bit on physics and astronomy. My blog is on everything science .

Mine...

http://mustangnic.tumblr.com

Mostly photographs of wild horses and scenery from the Western USA. I'm moving back to the UK soon though, so it will be more a blog about me and my life soon.
A couple of new posts. One about how to teach yourself a language.

The second is about the crazy ways the CIA tried to kill Fidel Castro.
