I'm really scared to go into work today, been up since half 5 worrying about it. I'm covering for a colleague on the locum desk, which means I'm sorting out cover for all shifts that need it. One department never ask for cover the way they should, they just ring people from agencies up, book them and tell us to pay them. But it turns out that one of the people who has been working for them is from an off-framework agency (the NHS only uses agencies that follow the specifications outlined in the PASA framework so they know they're getting good doctors) which is a big no-no. We can't employ a non-framework locum without permission from the medical director and the department were pressuring me into signing the confirmation sheet for the doctor *without* speaking to the medical director which means I would basically lose my job - it's that much of a big deal... None of my managers were there last night when all this happened so I had to leave it til this morning and now I'm scared what's going to happen when I go in

OMG! Totally dropping not-so-subtle hints to my boy.

Since you people are amazing, I have a question. I want to take my boy away for our anniversary. (11th Nov) Leaving it a little late I know.. But I have no idea what we could do? It has to be in the UK and reasonably cheap. Dates would be max 10 - 14th November, but don't know what time off he can get yet.
