Quick Maths question?

Hi, i was wondering if i could have a bit of help with a maths questions. I know how to find the equation of a straight line when the y intercept is =0 however there is a question:

FInd the equation of the straight line with a gradient of 8 passing through (3,4)

I ususally do y=3x+2 but this time i dont think its right,

Can anybody help?

Eh?

y - b = m(x - a)
y - 4 = 8(x - 3)
y - 4 = 8x - 24
y = 8x - 20
