 :frown:

My eyebrow bar fell out, and I didn't have anything to put in it for twenty minutes. When I did put something in after that time, it had already started closing up!

My ear cartilage would close up if I left it more than an hour and that was like 18 months after I had it done

BJS forum meet-up in Manchester on 19th May, anyone else going? I know discombobulation is but the site appears to be down at the moment for some strange reason so I can't check for any more info or post anything there :frown: But the premise is that BJS forum members meet up, some get pierced at Holier Than Thou, then we all go to the pub (I think).
Wait, the site and forum are back up now!

That sounds good! I might mention it to my friend who came to Manchester with me last time, we were talking about a road trip up there one day. So yeah, maybe I'll be there  Might get my conch pierced if so. I doubt it though, I have absolutely no money at the moment.

I'm not even a member at the forums though, so I should probably join in a bit. :P
Had my second conch done (finally!) and daith on the other ear today!

Haven't cleaned them properly yet, am going to wait til tomorrow. Daith hurt an insane amount and conch was quite a bleeder, but the quickest piercing I've ever had, lol. My poor anti-tragus spoils the daith though :bawling:

They look really good  The anti-tragus looks painful though =/ I would've given up and taken it out by now, haha.

I've started to really want my conch pierced now. Well, punched, to be more precise. So I'll be waiting until I'm at uni anyway, partly because I'm not 18 till August, and partly because nowhere here does dermal punches. I want it punched at 8g or 6g with a glass plug.
I've only got my ears and belly pierced

Was thinking about having another hole in my ears.

Pfft lame I know. I only got my belly done a month ago, after 2 months of careful deliberation.

I decided I wanted my bellybutton done on the Thursday, and got it on the Saturday.

Can you tell I act on impulse? :p:

Updated pic! nearly healed now apart from the big star which is a little flaky. I'm very pleased with it  not the best pic to show off the colour really though!

Thanks! The conch punch sounds good, I love how they look but I'm still not sure if I'd have one, it'd have to be in the daith ear and once it's done, there's no going back! Thought about having an upper helix punch but I'll give anything that big a think.

I didn't know you weren't 18! How is scarification/branding legal for under 18s? I always wondered how eatenplacenta on BME had conch punches and scarification done at 17 when they are more major procedures than genital piercings that are illegal to do on 'minors'. Wish I'd started younger, only found out about proper modification at 18, I'm a late bloomer :frown:. Been making up for lost time though .

hi, i was wondering if anyone has had a medusa piercing(the center on your top lip)?

im thinking of getting mine done so its in line with my labret piercing, but ive heard its like THE most painful piercing ever... is that true?

I doubt it's as painful as a cartilage piercing. Daith was bloody awful, medusa should be a breeze, just the same as your labret but the skin is a little tougher. Read people's experiences of getting the piercing on BME. Here's a link - http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/05-lips/bme-pg05-exp-s7-001.html.
Oops, I just noticed that I've been posting in the FAQ rather than the society page, I'm a clever one.

So I guess I'll start afresh in here =)

Back
This is my lower back tattoo that I got done in April 2006 by Steve Byrne. This was my first tattoo, I would have been 18 and a half or so and it took around an hour. I designed it myself, but he devised how to work the cherry blossoms into the design.

Leg
Then I got my right thigh done at the very end of this January  Again by Steve, it was completed in one sitting that took three hours.
