What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?
I think these countries are lacking in stereotypical aesthetics... like in general italians/swedes/germans/french have a certain look... but brits don't really.
i mean english/welsh more than scottish/irish because scottish and irish people have more of a defining look than english/welsh...
is it because we're more of a mishmash of genes? or am i wrong and we do have a defining look? -

Re: What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?Scottish: ginger(Original post by Bellissima)
thats because of how they're dressed/styled though
English: posh and upper class.
Welsh: Drunk rugby supports/farmers.
Irish: drunks.
Hope this clarifies. -
Re: What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?Brits are fairly pale. Also, ginger hair is a very British attribute. Naturally, it is found in other countries but in Britain it is far more common (particularly in its Celtic 'fringes' such as Scotland and Ireland).(Original post by StartSomething)

Re: What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?
I don't think British people have a stereotypical look, since there has been so much immigration within it throughout history (i.e Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Celts etc).
But the general pale/ginger features are probably the most stereotypical. (which would make sense in terms of evolution/adaption due to the lack of sun the nations receive)Last edited by No Man; 12-04-2012 at 23:10. -

Re: What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?I know what you're asking OP but i think due to a lot breeding within these populations, english, welsh, irish, scottish look too similar to have a distinct look.

Re: What does a (stereo)typical English/Welsh/Scottish/Irish person look like?
I think the sterotypical look thing only happens if you look at Europe as a whole.
Spanish - tanned skin, pointy goatee and moustache
French - short, pervy look on face
German - square jaw and sunken eyes
Italian - large biceps, slicked back hair, even pervier look on face
Swedish - pale and blond
British- posh looking, stiff upper lip -
