Need Help for engineering calculations
All calculations according to ACI 318-11
Specific weight of soil is 130 lbs/ft^3
Specific weight of concrete is 150 lbs/ft^3
Compressive strength of concrete 3ksi = f’c
Yield strength of reinforcement 60ksi = fy
Corner Column Total Dead Loads are 185.3 kips
Corner Column Total Live Loads are 49 kip
Edge Column total Dead Loads are 364.5 kips
Edge Column Total Live Loads are 111.04kip
and the service surchage is 0.125 ksf (125 Ib/sp.ft)
Assumed dimensions footing:
Square footing
10 by 10 ft
Depth of footing (d) = 6ft
And d’ 2ft
had to design the plans for a three-story building. We have designed the structural footing for the building but as I have never done something like this before, I don't know whether it is correct. tell me whether the calculations and the design for the footing look solid, If you come over emails i have an attachment also. its urgent.
