Do European Union citizens get loans to study in the UK?

UK citizens aren't allowed to get a loan to study in other European countries, are other Europeans allowed to get a loan to study in the UK?

UK citizens get the same treatment as native citizens in Europe. The difference mainly is that European countries usually don't have high tuition fees and therefore most governments don't offer any loans. If you want to study in Germany, for example, you can apply for a student loan from Deutsche Bank. If you want to study in Switzerland, you apply to the local state's bank (banque cantonal/Kantonalbank) for a student loan.

EU citizens studying in Britain get the same treatment from the student loans company.
