I don't think anyone has died from a hat hitting them at a graduation ceremony. They do have a reasonable amount of weight behind them, and quite pointed corners however.

We didn't have hats so we didn't have an opportunity to throw them.

I think we were enjoying ourselves too much, but yeah it was annoying when a different parent was like "I missed it, do it again". Either way, it was still a good moment :biggrin:
