Hello. I'm hopefully going to university this september and was wondering whether to take my ps4 to university? It seems a waste not to as I only got it last week.

Take it! You won't be studying 24/7, and yeah, there's no point letting it sit at home gathering dust. I've always had both my PS3 and Xbox 360 with me at University.
I haven't taken my Xbox 360 with me, but being an over-involved student who is notionally in his second year, I know I would get nothing done if I had GTA5 with me. Also, I would need to buy my own television (the games consoles live in the family living room). As a fresher, I suppose it would be different.
yes, but if you don't, lend it to me during term time. i can pay you in maths tuition or fifa lessons (maybe these wont be handy for you anymore, oops)
Unless you're doing medicine or vetinary medicine you'll deffo have the time to bash your console..... I personally utilise my old PS2, the lads love it when we get hammered and play San Andreas
I have my PS3 with me at uni, it was actually pretty good for socialising in first year since I often had a couple flatmates join me for a game or watching something on netflix. I haven't found it distracting at all really - the time I spend playing would otherwise be spent on the internet or watching TV shows / films. It's also really nice to have it on those days you just want to relax and be lazy
Take it. Most courses = little study time and lots of free time in the day. I took my xbox 360 for 3 years for FIFA 11-13 and sky player/skygo. No doubt. And don't feel as though you HAVE to share. It's your console. Keep it in your room. I will take my Xbox one when I g back to study law. Sky TV and a bit of Fifa, not as much as first degree though!
