I think I get mistaken for being Dutch because I look a bit Dutch, I have a Dutch sounding surname (despite having no Dutch family), and I think I speak German with a Dutch accent, (not sure how!) as lots of Germans think I'm Dutch!

Errrmmm, yeah. Use Memrise.com as a good website to learn new words etc (I made a course on there with some good vocab on :h:

) and also a book like "Getting Started in Dutch", or "Complete Dutch" by Teach Yourself would be a good idea. :yep:

Who knows? And nope, it's not a stereotypical name as such, but then lots of Dutch people/ people who can speak Dutch say they know a lot of people with this surname.
And haha, I didn't come up with it, but it's one of the nationalities that people frequently guess me to be!
