How dare people dress in a way that expresses themselves! Those cretins! Those abominations! The audacity of them to not want to conform to societal norms! Bastards

More of a bastard than Jon Snow honestly
Agreed, such a bunch of muppets. It's mostly just insecure teenagers who subscribe to it for a little while before growing up and realising they look bonkers and probably need to get a job.

Metal isn't just a single-genre of music; there are many different kinds and styles
I'm a metal fan, mostly classical heavy metal. Shock horror I have short hair, no piercings and aside from the occasional heavy metal shirt you wouldn't be able to tell I was into the music at all. You still get metalheads, you don't have to look hard at all. To say the subculture is dying out is beyond ridiculous.
do metal heads even wash?
Dat long hair :sogood: The day it goes away is the day I become celibate.
Whenever I think of "metal head", I am always reminded of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-708dvBV1I

pretty horrendous, but KoRn even said themselves that they arent a metal band

untouchables was their stand out album, every track is a banger
I'm a "metal head" if you want to call me that. (I like rock and metal...)

Really there's no hard and fast rule to what I wear on an average day.

Sometimes you can't tell the difference between me and a townie, whereas other days it's blindingly obvious that I'm a rock chick. Just depends (on many things... where I'm going, what I'm doing, whether or not it's warm outside, who I'm with, etc.)

eh no. Quite a few metalheads are grown-up with quite stressful jobs and have metal as a release.

Korn are generally considered to be nu-metal - a form of metal. If you'd prefer though, look at the attempted collaboration between Metallica or Lou Reed.

glad this is a thing of the past, no music style has been ruined as much like these cretins have managed to.

I was talking about the fashion not the music.
