i left school with a english d, and maths b and that was it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a load at college, and passed but my point is that im going to still go for medicine, with this.

Now if I am confident enough to still apply, im sure youll be absolutely fine.

(I do wander if I have any chance at all, but I'm an optimist - instead of a realist )

i haven't got a single a* and only 3 a's and i'm doing medicine at kings. so to be honest you people are worrying over nothing. but you do need some work experience and you do need to get involved in activities. and i'm sure you won't go wrong.

naveed i think ur talking our of ur a***. What do u mean 12A* at least? To be realistic i reckon if u have a comibntaion of 5 A's and A*'s together, thats fine, at least with 4 A* anyway.
The only problem you might have is ur english grades. becuase if they ever look at ur GCSE grades thats the one they only really care about.
AS/A levels matter much more than gcse. If you think you can get at least 3 A's at AS-level then u've fine
