Urgent: What do you think of this Rhinoplasty surgeon?

Are you selecting him because he's good, or because he's in Poland and hence cheap? Have you considered additional costs and time if the you have complications or require follow up? Read any independent reviews from former patients? Have you considered where the 80% cost savings are made?

How are we supposed to know? It sounds good from the page you gave, but as a resident of the UK I place a lot of faith in GMC registration.

Would NEVER have it done in Poland. Never.

What's that?

Doctor's registered by the GMC are those who've demonstrated they have the right to practice as a doctor. The GMC are responsible for ensuring doctor's work for the benefit of patients without causing harm. In a sense, they regulate doctors. Also, if they're on the GMC specialist register, then you know they've completed training in accredited centers and have sufficient experience to work as a consultant.

How can I check if Dr Gumkowski is GMC registered?

I doubt he is, seeing as how he is in Russia or something and the GMC operate within the UK.
