I would not pick ground floor, for a few obvious reasons, I'm on the first floor of mine and it's alright, not a trek to get to and a nice view (not).

I'm not at Sunderland uni, nevermind the same accommodation as you, parking is quite limited at my accommodation, they have like 5 spaces inside, £600 for their whole stay, but if you're staying far from the uni, or you have a job, it might be worth it, ring up your accommodation and ask them!

You should check the uni website and see what accommodation there is, the uni could have their own one, or you might need to go privately, UNITE is a good private choice, so I have heard.

i went to an open day here and seen a couple accommodations, i'm not sure how close they were to the campus but it doesn't really matter as they have a free bus service for the students to get!
and from what i remember, they had car parks at both the accommodations

Hi, I'm at Sunderland Uni. I depends if you want ensuite or not. Car parking is alright, there are limited spaces however. It's much better to be higher up. Check out the uni accommodation page! Also as OP mentioned there is a free campus bus service.
