Primary teaching/Studying abroad/Best universities?

Hi
I'm very interested in becoming a teacher and with my uni course i wish to expand my horizon and go abroad for a year, with the uni course to hence make myself a better person outside and inside the class room.
I ask which Universities offer this and why does that university make them better than the rest? (Preferably an English speaking country)
Finally I would like to know what differs from Uni to Uni in primary teaching? Do all universities run the same type of course do they entail different things such as child psychology?
Thank you for the response in advance.

Ah you took the words right out of my mouth, and asked near enough an identical question to what I was about to post! I hope someone has some insight!

Bishop Grosseteste University (Lincoln) is third in the country for Primary school teaching

Bangor offers a lot of extra courses (small) and other qualifications that can be gained through the course as well as specialising in both key stages. I went to visit Bangor in Wales and the university was amazing!!
