Just sent off my application! Just waiting for my references to be finished and then keeping my fingers crossed for a few months, hope they don't cramp up...

When did you apply?

I applied a day before the Oxbridge deadline.
I still haven't sent my application but these are my choices so far:smile:

1. University of Edinburgh - Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science
2. University of Edinburgh - Software Engineering
3. University of Glasgow - Software Engineering
4. Heriot-Watt University - Computer Science (Games Programming)
5. University of Strathclyde - Computer Science

I'm not from the UK and here the grades are between 2 and 6(6 is the highest and is the equivalent of A). I still haven't held the state exams, which are in May, but I'm sure my GPA won't be less than 5.90

GCSEs : 3A*s, 4As and a B
AS: Maths (A), Further Maths (A), Physics (B), Chemistry (B), Spanish (B)

Unis: Warwick, Southampton, Imperial, Queen Mary, Bath/UCL

Any help deciding between Bath and UCL would be appreciated. I liked bath when I visited and its great with employment in mind, but UCL has a strong rep.

I believe that you should choose a university where you would like to spend 3,4 years, not only about rep. You already apply to Imperial which has an international rep. It depends on what you want. Do you want rep or a nice campus/univ in a still strong uni. I don't say that ucl is not beautiful but if you believe it is not for you, you should choose Bath.

Manchester, QUB, and Cardiff. I'm still thinking of firming Manchester though. Undecided yet. But I also don't wanna lose Sheffield. Is there any difference between Sheffield and Manchester. the entry requirements for Manchester are very high and if I don't meet 'em I'll have to go to Liverpool.:s-smilie: Any thoughts?

Manchester standard offer for CompSci is AAB, maybe they'll let you in if you get ABB. Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester are members of Russell group, so they should be fairly similar.

Also you have until May to decide which one is your firm choice
