Data science bsc at LSE? (experience, advice)

What’s it like studying data science bsc at LSE?
And,

- how’d you manage to get into these unis for the course? Any specific things people tend to overlook? Or things to prioritize/keep in mind for admissions (like PS, etc.)

- supercurriculars you’ve done? Projects, activities, books, etc.

- anything I should do to prep for these courses before entering uni?

LSE recommends you do Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level.

The competition is fierce with 27 applicants chasing each place?! :frown:

Familiarity with Python and R programming languages is advantageous.

Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence might be mentioned as topics that 'excite' you about the Data Science course perhaps?

Cambridge University has a supercurriculars guide: https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/super-curricular_suggestions.pdf
