Hi! It sounds like you've got a big decision ahead of you! If we can help with any questions you may have about the University of Wolverhampton, just let us know
Just been to the UCAS visit day at Nottingham yesterday and it was an amazing experience, the staff are enthusiastic and friendly but also the employability is pretty good!

Definitely firming,

but now thinking of my insurance choice, anyone picking thinking of Nottingham Trent for Joint Maths and CompSci

Bristol was my favourite but my grades last year weren't good enough to apply.

Same, they're taking ages!! Have you visited both?

No I haven't visited Bristol. I really enjoyed Edinburgh though!

Anyone received offers from UCL lately? I sent my application on 20th October and I haven't heard from them apart from them asking for additional information just before Christmas. My referee emailed the required grades etc and UCL confirmed that they'd received the documents, yet still nothing.
I'm starting to get worried as I've already received all my other offers.
Do you think there's any chance they have forgotten about considering my application since my predicted grades were sent around the holidays?

Hey, am I being stupid wanting to choose Glasgow over Edinburgh? (I have unconditionals for both.) I went to both open days and I much preferred Glasgow to Edinburgh. However, Edinburgh always seem to score higher in rankings than Glasgow, and I wouldn't want to miss out on opportunities because I chose the wrong one.

Opinions? :/

They're both good unis, it's best to go where you prefer. Glasgow ranks fairly highly for CompSci as well which means the department is fairly strong.

It's true that Edinburgh has better worldwide rep, but that'll only come into play if you are wanting to move abroad. If you are looking into Investment Banking/Finance Edinburgh is arguably better as well, but again doesn't apply if you aren't.
