For A Level, I think the lowest they'd ask for is ABB. Not sure about GCSEs, although I know you need minimum of a C in English.

Anywhere from ABB to AAA for A-level.

A B in Math and a C in English Language at GCSE.

AAA - ABB at A level (MUST include chemistry).

8 -10 GCSE's, 6 at grade A, minimum of B in English /and Lit, and in sciences.

Don't forget that medicine is a lot more than academic - good ranges of hobbies and interests, lots of work experience, friendly and outgoing, realistic, determined, copes well with stress, and gives a good, clear well presented iterview etc etc...

The grades are what gets you in. The personality is what makes you any good at it when your there...
