AS Maths - Recurrence Relationships

Can someone please help me out with 4a)

:smile:
U1 = 2 (Un)
U1+1 = 4 (Un + 1)

So if Un+1=pUn+q, then 2p+q= 4 as Un=2

Do the same for the second equation, so your new Un is 4 and your new Un+1 is 7.2

Hope this helps :smile:
