Everyone does have skeletons in their closets, whether metaphorically or literally. Everyone has secrets that they don't want other people to find out. Some people say clearing out your closet can make you feel better however it can also be a bad thing.

I have a secret that only one person irl knows, I told him because he knew me enough for me to trust him but he didn't know me enough so that it would be a bad move to tell him.

My 'skeletons', if you could call it that, are known to my friends and I don't particularly care. Rather things were out in the open than live a life of fear with constant lies.
