What are you studying and where?

The south, usually. He's probably not in touch with Turkish culture very much, I know there are cultural differences between different cities.

Law at Bristol Uni. Yourself?

The south is really nice during summer, and popular among Brits as well. No Turkish city can compete with Istanbul though.

According to you, what are the pros and cons of Turkey and Britain?

This is a very touchy subject in Turkey. I admit that I don't have enough knowledge to make an educated comment on it.

I'm doing A levels, so not at university yet.

I really want to go to Istanbul, it looks amazing.

Wow, never really thought about it tbh
Britain:
I like the people (most of the time)
London!
Just the small things like TV shows and cups of tea

However, i don't like that its so anti-Islam and xenophobia seems to be on the increase too.

Turkey:
I like the people (most of the time)
Nice weather
More religious compared to the UK
The GBP to TL exchange rate is also very good

Some of the people can be extremely spiteful and jealous. Here in the UK people generally mind their own business and keep their spite to themselves, but some people in Turkey are a lot more open in that sense.

I think your analysis is very accurate. So Turkey being more religious is something desirable to you?

Because of national pride.
