I would prefer to be Queen.

That depends, I suppose, on whether the monarch is only a figurehead. On the other hand, there is often a limit on the number of years a president can stay in office.

if I was a citizen, I'd want to be ruled by a president limited by a constitution
if I was a head of state and had the option of being a king or president, I'd obviously choose to be a monarch - I could basically get paid a fortune per year and live in a palace to do a job literally a trained-monkey could do.

Queen of a constitutional monarchy. I don't mind being hobbled by a constitution---after all, I don't want to be a tyrannical despotess---but I don't want the constitution such that real power is vested in the Prime Minister.
