To any former/current QUB PGCE students (Commute times)

Hi all,

I was just curious for all of those people who have done, or are currently doing, a PGCE at QUB. How was the placement? Were Queen’s accommodating or did anyone have really long commutes?

The reason I ask is that surprisingly I have been accepted onto the QUB PGCE course; however, I am also considering England (and have already applied there, due, in part, to the massive bursary available) but wondering how QUB is in terms of placement distances. If I thought QUB offered reasonable commute times I might go for it instead of England as I’d be living with my parents and wouldn't need to find accommodation etc (still, England does offer some really big bursaries, lol).
