Will the Lib-Dems be the only British Party Left?

"IF" the Lib-Dems become the last British PArty, as a Brit do you think you should vote Lib-Dem ?

I think they offer the only sane course.

CON: The EU referendum is crazy.
LAB: The leader is not quite good enough.
SNP: Don't ask
UKIP: Good Grief...

It has to be LIB-DEM...

Sorry but none of the others cut the mustard.

What do you mean the only one left? Are the others going to disappear?

Miliband will be a great PM, if the numbers are good enough.
What is this, politics for 10-year olds?

But he might get wiped out in Scotland and thus be only an England/Wales party. He is not liked in Scotland and he is way too posh boy for a Labour PM - He's probably more posh then half the Tory Cabinet.

I think its more likely that the LIB-DEMs will hold on ALL OVER the UK thus, be de facto the only ALL British Party with "popularist" MPs all over the nation.

Ed Miliband is disliked by many people, not just in Scotland, mainly because he is a buffoon.

How?

His voice and mannerism all have a feel of a very posh education and cultural background...
A socialist should give the impression of at least middle class (blair just about sounded like a middle class leader) but milliband appears like a champagne, intellectual elite socialist - posh boy.

I give you that - but at least (touchwood) they will be spread all over the country.
People who live in those 20 to 40 seats will get way more then people living in any other seat - Both LAB or CONS will want their support...

Voting LIB-DEM is a no brainer.... Its WIN WIN WIN combination. Who ever wins LIB-DEM seats win.
I liked the lib dems but they really are the most irrelevant and pointless party, they don't even aim for a majority.

Yeah... I'll stick with Labour. Because they already have my support.

Blair and Brown both attended independent schools. Milliband didn't. I don't call a comprehensive in Chalk Farm 'very posh'. I don't really see how you can object to him being educated. Being well educated in no way precludes one from being a socialist.

If anything Clegg is further away from the group he is meant to represent.

Nonsense. If they get in your area then your area has leverage to get "this that and the other" from central government. They are the ONLY party that all the other parties want to do a deal with...

This means, since the Lib-Dems will only get between 20 to 40 seats, each one will be like GOLD DUST... If you are lucky to live in one of those seats, you'll end up better off.... Government contracts might well go to your businesses , your "this that or the other" might get chosen for "this that or the other"....

Its not which school you went to - its his whole persona - It reeks of "posh boy" - Blair might well have gone to Eton for all I know, but his persona was very typical grammar school kid - its not which school, its deeper then that, its his whole being. Posh Boy.

Surely the point of objecting to someone based on class is because their class gives them a certain outlook on life. You might object to Cameron because he went to Eton and hasn't ever had to face hardship, therefore one might argue that he isn't able to fully understand the ramifications of his policies that hit the poorest in society.

It is totally irrelevant what somebodies voice sounds like or if their mannerisms make them appear a certain way, as this has no impact on their suitability for office. He may sound posh or whatever but doesn't actually suffer from the problems that Cameron et al do with regards to class. I think to call somebody posh based on their voice and use this as a reason to deride them politically is ridiculous and an example of the problems that Britain faces politically.
why is the EU referendum crazy? was it crazy back in 1975?

I would like a conservative, lib dem coalition but that's because the lib dems will drop almost all their policies to get into power. They seemed to have no red lines that they weren't prepared to cross like other parties have said. I like Nick Clegg and he talks a lot of sense and I genuinely considered voting for them but their manifesto I cannot get behind. My only options now are to vote for Nadine Dories, utter ****, or spoil my ballot.

Con: Party of the rich
Lab: Progressive party with a leader who is not swayed by murdoch or big businesses.
SNP: Progressive but nationalist, need to drop the hope of another referendum in 2017
UKIP: Tory-extra
Lib-dem's: Can't be trusted on anything. Want a coalition with the tories.
Green: Best option- but 1st past the post system will allow tories in if left vote is halfed.

Vote labour but green in brighton.
You're making all Lib Dem supporters look bad rn pls stop
