Distance Learning

I've done two A levels at sixth form but have had health problems since GSCEs (hence only the two A levels.)
I know what I want to do at uni, environmental sciences/studies, however I don't have the relevant grades or subjects to study this, also because of my health I'm not able to go yet but want to be prepared for when I am.
So basically my question is what are the best organisations for doing distance learning courses with?
