Apparently I have 8GB storage on the tablet... when formatted and with the OS it turns out to be about 5.32GB on the USB storage, 0.98GB on the NAND internal storage, and 14.83GB on the SD card.
Already I'm getting error messages about storage...

Yes, very annoying... I don't want to have to throw out my tablet just because it needs more storage!
If I knew how to root devices I'd root it, remove some of the preinstalled junk (who needs Aldiko and BBC Media Player) and set apps to install to SD/USB storage as default,
