Typical

I opted for religion. Theres nothing easier than
dividing society by trying to enforce beliefs you
cant prove on them.

I would have to say IQ.

IQ divides into

Sex and intelligence
Religiosity and intelligence
Race and intelligence
Health and intelligence
Wealth and intelligence

Class. Almost definitely.

Class then Nationality, race really is realted to nationality and race as such isnt such a dividing factor as people think.
i put IQ but was thinking on a smaller scale to others... i was thinking about within communities etc... rather on a global stage, in which i would have selected nationality (closest option to culture).

Outside of socialist Europe and Latin America, no one gives a damn about class. I'd say nationality, as that has been the most efficient rallying cry over the last two centuries. Religion is usually subsumed by nationality. Even when there are warring groups of different religions within a country, these groups tend to be of different ethnicities (though there are quite a few exceptions). Gender is probably up there as well, as outside of the West (and even to an extent there) a person's choices in life are severely limited by their gender (and I'm not just referring about the having kids issue).
Race, without doubt. I doubt all of the races are equal and there must be some discrepancy between whites and blacks, for one. Whites tend to have higher IQ's too.

Why so funny? It's scientific fact.

Do you have any back up?
Yes. There have been numerous studies which show this. People in "black African" countries have lower average IQ's than in white countries.

Can you "back up" the contrary argument?

This has already been debated, and examined and contrary evidence provided on this sub-forum before.

I would suggest that rather than hijacking this thread, you do a search and continue your debate on the previous thread that I have just mentioned...only the search facility is not working!

I'll see if I can find it manually by doing a trawl through the old threads - it wasn't that long ago.

edit: Here it is; http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=312140 - it was initiated by our resident racist...dave777

Read through it and if you have anything new to say post it there so as it can be 'resurrected' and read.
The actual evicdence wasn't disputed Yawn - The relevancy was.

You can read it for yourself, FIMN since I've edited my post to include the thread.

It was the unreliability of the research methods and models that were disputed - therefore casting doubt on the research outcomes.

Anyway - back to the poll.

Probably just because we have a way better education system.

Race.

Just think how words like paki, nigger, kaffir, chink etc. are banned.

Saying "Oh you are such a spaniard/catholic/chav/oap/woman" doesnt really cut it. IQ is close because of moron, tard, ******* etc.

I'd say nationality, so long as you understand the concept as an identity rather than a legal category.
