Since 1st Jan 2000 = 5,640 days

Until 1st Jan 2030 = 5,320

5,320 < 5,640 so closer to 2030. :yep:

That's where you're mistaken, what you said suggested that you were taking 'from 2000' making what I said taking from the end of 2000 factually correct...

I'd say it's more logical to go from the closest point because otherwise I could say I'll measure to 31st December in both.

some infinitys are bigger than some infities. the infity between one and zero is small than two and zero.
