Investment & Financial Risk Management

Hey there!

This course is very not standard. It doesnt exist elsewhere (in higher quality unis), and is very specific. This has obvious merits, but also drawbacks. I assume it is not academic. Would employers be interested in this course? Is it highly regarded? Is it too specific to investing, or is it also useful for other financial and business careers? I have researched the website, but would love to know more.

Thank you very much!
I would say the degree is just a finance degree, regardless of the title. It is all a bit of a marketing gimmick, most cass degrees are finance with some kind of specialism. Ad long you have decent quantitative skills, i.e. Qm, econ, stats, econometrics - I am sure it will be fine. The content is more important than degree name.

Of course it is. Thanks for the answer!
Would you suggest doing it* over a more traditional sounding course, such as accounting and finance (in Cass Business School)?

*None are my first choices.

Ultimately entrepreneurship. However; I would want to initially start in finance (investment/trading) and maybe later corporate.
