@Keele University you beat me to it! :colondollar:

+1 to that. Ive never seen it before but it looks cute.
Biased obviously but the main building at Glasgow is gorgeous, and I have some lectures here next semester 😊 usually sciences are confined to the less visually appealing buildings...ImageUploadedByStudent Room1439739816.402160.jpg

People actually like Brutalism?

It is awful and everything made in that style should be torn down.
The most beautiful universities tend to be the most financially irresponsible universities. I'd rather my university look like dog turd than have it be a palace because you don't choose a university based on looks. So many universities are spending hundreds of millions of pounds on new buildings. THIS IS WHERE YOUR TUITION FEES ARE GOING TO PEOPLE. If you think the professors are getting that money, you're deluded. Admins and buildings are the cash drains

Some do some dont. The top building "roger stevens" is grade 2 listed. Read the listing guide to see why. I'm impressed by the ability to fit 25 decent sized lecture theatres into a small footprint.

I think there are some nice examples and it can look good as a one-off, but I certainly wouldn't want to live in a homogeneously brutalist city.

Yeah, to be honest the Leeds one isn't that bad.

Yeah there are awful examples of Brutalism but there are bad examples of victorian gothic and neoclassical too

I've never even heard of Keele before but yeah... that is very sexy.

(I think I am sexually attracted to red brick buildings, I would probably marry Birmingham uni if I was able.)
Depends if you want the CITY or RURAL feel.

For, RURAL, I would go Cambridge.
For, CITY, I'd go Imperial College.
