CS Personal Statement Help

I would like to know what people would recommend to do in order to strengthen their PS for CompSci.

I just want to know small projects that can be done within the next 3 months (In time for deadline) so that I have a strong PS and can present how eager I am to study CS. This is because I do not study Maths at A Level, I need a fair few things to bring me up (I am more than willing to put in the hours and effort needed for a career in CS to understand the Maths side, which is pretty much all of it).

For reference, I want to Apply to Newcastle/QMUL I400 Course, MSc Computing with Placement (5yrs), which ask for B in Maths GCSE and not at A Level.

My subjects are Bio/Psych/Hist (AAB). Any idea on how likely I am to be accepted into the course? Both Unis ask for AAB and I am more likely going to achieve A*/A/C or B .

Any advice, as long as it is constructive would truly be appreciated.
