Mitochondria: is part of the cells that converts food into organic molecules into energy for the cell to function known as ATP, like petrol is the fule of cars for instance...
ATP is the fuel of human body.

Organic -> ATP = Cellular Respiration

More energy is directly proprtional to number of mitochondria
