Politics applicants 2016

Thought I'd make a thread for people applying to Politics or similar courses for 2016 entry. Say which unis you're applying to, which courses, your GCSE grades, your AS and predicted grades and your top choice

Options:
- Politics - Durham AAA
- Politics - Exeter AAA
- Politics - Warwick AAA
- Politics - York AAB
- Politics and IR - Bristol AAA

Top choice is Durham

GCSE grades: 4A*s 6As 1B

AS: AAAA (Gov & Pol, English Lit, Geography, History)

A2 predicted: A*A*A* (dropped History)

Why Durham, out of interest?

Went to the Politics talk on the open day and was really inspired by the head of department. The course looks great too.

Love the place. Although I'm from London, my mum is from Durham and I have family there so in some ways it's like a home away from home.

I also like the idea of the college community, something none of my other options offer. I have heard great things about Collingwood which is why I'm applying there.

Durham is obviously a prestigious university too, so that helps.

Where are you applying?

Applying for International poitics at Aberystwyth only. If there is one place I want to stay for 3 years while studying it's there! I'll be going for the scholarship in february so hopefully I can get an unconditional offer at a minimum!
