Is university of Surrey a good place to study psychology?

Im thinking of applying there for psychology but unsure if they'll accept me as my as grades are currently ABC but i'm retaking to hopefully get AAB.
I also didn't get the chance to see the uni so just wanted to know if it is a nice place or not for psychology and how accommodation and student life is.

I've been accepted by the University of Surrey for Psychology in 2016! (I deferred a year)
When I went on a campus tour I was really impressed by the psychology facilities - there are specialist areas of cognitive, development etc. The course is also designed to increase your employment prospects with a sandwich year, which is great for actual working experience in the field rather than just having the academics of it.
For the accommodation I would say the on-campus environment is really great for socialising, and is also conveniently near everything you'd ever need. (Town shops about 10 mins walk away) The negatives of the accommodation I would say is if you're wanting Band D, which is ensuite, as it is very small for the price. The Band C houses actually seem like a better deal, as they are more spacious rooms and have a very communal feel.
Surrey itself seems like a really nice town too, the clubs are a little lacking but with a few drinks I think you can turn anyplace around :')

Hey! You may have already sent off your application, however I'm a First Year at Surrey on their 4 year Psychology course! The course itself is 5th on the country for Psychology (Guardian) and I'm really enjoying it. The lectures are enjoyable and the lecturers are extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend Surrey. A key point is that this year, Surrey have increased the typical offer to AAA however I would recommend still applying as I know a large handful of people who achieved AAB/ABB who were still accepted onto the course.
