Why don't the police just shoot these anarchist idiots with rubber bullets?

Yes I did, I'm totally at a loss as to how there are so many deranged lunatics in a civilised society like ours. They'll go back home to mummy and daddy and their trust funds and be too cowardly to do anything other than slam their bedroom doors. I'm afraid Care in the Community just hasn't worked.

I'm not even right wing myself, more neutral, but it's hilarious how many "left wingers" (esp. Labour ones I know for some reason) are actually.champagne socialist types, who don't actually respect those on low incomes. Despite their ideals they seem reluctant to give up their designer clothing (note the guy at the protest in Levis), regular Starbucks and expensive vegan food, or iPhones. Good luck fitting in if you're not from a certain background.

They also look down on and insult people like working class voters who dare vote UKIP or Tory, calling them "brainwashed".

I'm talking about launching fireworks at police horses and burning police cars......

The Anonymous group aren't left wing. They're anti-authoritarian, to some extent making them anarchists.
The usual understanding of anarchism as a left wing ideology does not take into account the neo-liberal "anarchism" championed by the likes of Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman and America's Libertarian Party, which couples social Darwinian right-wing economics with liberal positions on most social issues.

Water cannons work pretty well over here in NI without causing damage to property, enraging the crowd or running the risk of injuring someone (including innocents for example).

Come on, that only makes the loyalists more angry, they're like a pack o wolves. And the only reason they use them is because they used to use rubber bullets and bean bag rounds and the RUC/Army used to cut off the ends which made them more deadly.
And that's usually because they've already caused damage by the time the water cannons are out.

Yes, their lifestyles don't match their assertions. Iphones, macs, designer gear but capitalism is the root of all evil. Hypocrisy at it's best/worst. How is it possible they can't see it? Someone on twitter picked out one of the protesters in a photo and posted a link to the jacket he was wearing - £455! I can't take these people seriously!

They are clearly not mostly people on benefits/low incomes (still wouldn't support violent protest if they were but that's more understandable).

Middle class kids looking for an excuse to be thuggish and "fight the man". The stupid thing is, if they were willing to give up stuff like their £455 jackets or Levis or whatever they could feed some of the homeless people in London for weeks. That would actually be an achievement. But no, probably watched V for Vendetta once and think they're some kind of heroes.

Of course the legal system is going all soft on them

Yeah, that's mainly because the Labour parties tend to be bourgeois workers' parties supported by the middle & working class.
By the way please don't subscribe to the Mensch fallacy, especially if you're a liberal (which I'll explain here). You don't have to return to a Stone-Age way of life to protest about the global economic crisis and the way the economy is being run, and your complaints about the protesters are ill-founded. If you were there you would've seen that only a minority of the people there got violent and that's because they were there to start trouble.

The best that Tories like Louise Mensch can offer in defence of their adherence to defunct ideologically driven pseudo-economic gibberish is to trot out truly pathetic arguments against those that would complain about the defunct neoliberal model, excessive corporate greed, financial sector corruption and growing inequality, using the straw man argument that anyone that opposes neoliberal economics, must be a raving anti-capitalist tree-hugger who opposes all forms of trade. Thus if these protesters have ever bought any commodity under the capitalist system (coffee and tents, her examples) they must be complete hypocrites.

On another note the ones that do vote UKIP tend to be persuaded by their anti-immigration policies and the ones that vote Tory are confused by their lies, which technically is 'brainwashing' - in a way. For example, he said that he wasn't going to cut tax credits - oh. A lot of the rest are explained here.

They're nothing less than pointless. That's labour's legacy, relieve everyone of responsibility and allow the state to parent their children.

Anti-capitalist marches aren't left wing?

Anti-capitalist marches aren't always left wing, yes. You don't have to be a raving communist anti-trade tree-hugger to complain about the economic crisis or the way the economy is being run, some are actually capitalists that seek an alternative means.

Capitalists seeking other means are not anti-capitalist, somewhat contradictory to say that you're an anti-capitalist capitalist.

That's so disingenuous. Yes, anarcho-capitalists exist but these people aren't anarcho-capitalists. They are anarcho-communist types. The same kind of people that you'll see at anti-"fascist" events.

True story: friend of mine was chatted up on the train by some guy a few weeks ago. They apparently got along for a few hours etc. till the discussion turned to politics, she told him she was a Tory and he started accusing her of being "evil" and "hating the poor" and walked off.

I can believe this as I have witnessed similar scenarios. Some people are so closed-minded, sheltered, arrogant and downright thick that they literally can't comprehend that somebody might have a different viewpoint to them for any reason other than being brainwashed or "evil". Their brains cannot fathom that there are other opinions that can be reached with good intentions.

Completely mindless.

Title says it all really, all these pathetic leftie losers (funny, its always lefties) burning police cars in London, why dont they just shoot them with rubber bullets?

Beyond the fact it would be enjoyable to watch them getting shot, it would solve the problem!

Wow.
Ever heard of EDL? The British Union of Fascists? BNP? The Orange Order?
All start riots or cause them because normal people know they're complete ********s.
Not all "lefties".

Following on to your point about shooting people with rubber bullets, they can fatally wound, we've seen that in Belfast and Derry with the RUC and Army cutting off the ends to make them more lethal, killing nearly 20 people in the time they were allowed.

Moreover, rubber bullets and water cannons should never be used because, atm with water cannons, the Tories intend to use them in order to:

a. Intimidate people (especially the elderly, the disabled and those with children) from using their legal right to peaceful protest.
b. Turn peaceful protests into riots through the inflammatory effect of deploying water cannon against them.

The right-wing thrives on the production of anger inducing narratives ("scroungers",immigrants etc) in order to rile people up so that they are too angry to actually consider the actual facts and evidence properly. Unfortunately the public have allowed themselves to be played like this time and again. If this kind of emotive scapegoating tactic hadn't proved successful, then the right-wing (and their supporters amongst the corporate mainstream media) would have dropped it in favour of some other form of propaganda. That they persist with this emotion over evidence strategy is a clear demonstration that it works.

These emotive argument strategies have become so familiar to those of us capable of reading between the lines, that we've come to expect very little else but empty and ignorant emotive arguments from right-wing types - such as those that approve of Tory plan to militarise the police so strongly that they openly propagandise for it on public forums.
