Polish students at British Unis ???

Hi,
so I'm from Poland and I am just about to complete my UCAS application. Studying in the UK is honestly such a goal of mine, but what concerns me is the obvious opinion about polish ppl in the UK. lol not gonna deny it, some ill-educated poles are coming here for all the wrong reasons, but tbh we hate them too, mainly for being the reason why such stereotypes exist. So how does it look at Unis? Are people prejudiced about nternational students -here, poles ofc as an example or nobody cares? Bc I heard such diverce opinions that I really don't know what to think :s-smilie:

People are absolutely fine with EU and international students, including Polish students. I'm yet to hear anyone express a negative opinion towards Polish students.

Most Poles are here to work, so it's really easy to find familiar food ("polski sklep" is a familiar sight) and they tend to have a reputation for being very hard workers (willing to work harder than the locals anyway!). However, at universities there are fewer Polish students, which is good because it means that you'll have to speak English to socialise and you will rapidly become completely fluent
