What would the difference be if I applied for BSc Design engineering instead of BEng

Thinking if I should apply to this as one of my choices. I want to become an engineer but not sure how having a bsc is going to affects career wise

Generally no, the degree name does not matter as long as it's accredited with the Engineering Council. But this isn't a real engineering degree. It's a product design degree.What kind of engineer do you want to be? This degree won't help you to become a civil, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, petroleum, bio, structural, environmental or computer engineer.
